Change

It's Saturday and I've been painting a chandelier for a friend. It doesn't take but a few minutes for the pain and numbness to start in my hands. The chandelier is drying for the moment, while I rest my hands. I will finish it later and post photos.

In the meantime, I keep studying and preparing for my state exam for which I am preparing myself for a career change. One that will still allow me to work my own schedule, but won't be physically demanding on my body anymore, and yet I will still make a great income. Not too bad! I'm actually looking forward to hanging up my ladders and being pain-free.

The new career is nothing I would have normally considered in the past. But once it was presented to me, I couldn't helpbut say "yes". My husband fully agrees and has been encouraging me to make this change. He hates to see me suffer in pain. So, I move forward.
